Jinhuan contracting |"First hoist" for the first steel structure electricity substation in Xiongan New Area completed successfully

On April 15th, 2020, the first steel component was successfully erected on the job site of the 220kV substation in Xiongan New Area, the first steel structure transformer substation in this district. The component is a 22 tons steel box column with height of 14 meters. Jinhuan produced and hoisted it into place with a 260-ton crane on the job site.

With construction area of 7,505㎡ and frame of steel structure, this substation is the first open green substation with theme of "Sharing and integration" in the district of Xiongan New Area. The substation building consists of one floor underground and two floors above. Frames of two above ground levels are prefabricated and assembled steel structures with grade 2 earthquake resistant. The project was broke ground on January 20th, 2020 and expected to be finished within 214 days.
